False Eyelashes Wear And Care Guide

Think of a high quality pair of false lashes as an investment. As investments go, it is imperative we put in time and effort to make sure they are cared for properly as we want to make sure they last for all your everyday and oh-so-special occasions! I have created a necessary and must-know guide for all false lash users to get the most wears out of each pair of lashes.

Follow these simple 4 steps that will help your false lash aftercare routine be seamless and effective, enjoy!

Step 1: Prep For Removal
Use a cotton swab or pad dipped in oil free makeup remover. Dab the cotton swab or pad along the lash band. This will help remove lash glue and makeup from your eye, making it easier to remove the lash band.

Step 2: Remove Your Lashes
Use your fingers to gently remove the outer lash band and start peeling the lash band inward to remove completely.

Step 3: Remove Glue
Peel off the glue left on the lash band with your fingers. Always make sure the glue is completely removed from the lash band. This is a major key to preventing any glue from dying and hardening on the lash band. If not removed completely, it shortens the life of your lashes. This is also key to keeping your lash band flexible and light.

Step 4: Storage
Do not soak your lashes in any liquid cleaner. A liquid cleaner, will damage the style and shape of your gorgeous Icona Lashes. Store your lashes in the original mold that is provided with the lash storage case. Placing your lashes back on the mold after use will ensure they retain their shape over time. Making sure your lashes stay pretty in the storage case after every use, will keep them pristine and clean from dust.

Until next time, Icona Beauties! Make sure to comment below with any thoughts and questions you may have- I’d love to hear from you!
